Founder’s Message for One Dollar for Change

A Personal Note from the Founder

Hey, I’m Christian Martinez, the founder of One Dollar for Change, and I want to take a moment to share why I started this movement.

I’ve always believed that helping people doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. Too often, families, individuals, and small businesses struggle because they don’t meet the strict requirements of traditional aid programs. And sometimes, all they need is a little bit of help at the right moment—whether that’s keeping the lights on, putting food on the table, or covering an unexpected expense.

That’s where One Dollar for Change comes in.

I asked myself: What if millions of people each donated just $1? It wouldn’t take much from each person, but together, we could create a massive impact. This organization was built on the idea that small contributions, when combined, can change lives.

A single dollar may not seem like much, but when we come together, it becomes something powerful.

We’re starting right here in Yuma, AZ, helping those in our local community first, but my vision is to grow this into a national movement. With the help of everyday people like you, we can build something that proves kindness and generosity still exist.

Thank you for being here and believing in this mission. I hope you’ll join us—because together, we can turn small acts of giving into real, lasting change.
